A very warm welcome to Wingham Public School. It is a privilege to lead a school with such a proud history, strong community connections and a genuine commitment to providing the very best opportunities for our students.
At Wingham Public School, we believe that every child can learn, grow and experience success. Our dedicated and caring staff work hard to know each student well – their strengths, interests, needs and aspirations – so that we can provide high-quality learning experiences that challenge, support and inspire them.
We have high expectations for learning, behaviour and wellbeing, while recognising that every child is unique. Through quality teaching, a broad range of learning opportunities and a strong focus on inclusion and student wellbeing, we aim to develop confident, curious and resilient young people who are equipped with the knowledge and skills they need for the future.
Just as importantly, we want our students to feel that they belong. We want Wingham Public School to be a place where students feel safe, supported and proud of their school, and where they are encouraged to have a voice, take on challenges and make a positive contribution to their community.
Strong partnerships with families and our wider community are an important part of achieving this. We value open communication and believe that when families and schools work together, we give our students the greatest opportunity to thrive.
